About
I've been drawn to photography since I was a kid, way before I knew anything about cameras.
Over the years my practice has grown to span a wide range of forms such as macro work, portraiture,
landscape, and everything in between. To me, photography isn't just a single medium or style.
Photography is an art that bends to whatever feeling I'm trying to convey to whomever may be around to witness.
Every frame is a deliberate choice. Light, timing, perspective, and that intention is
what separates a snapshot from a photograph. I'm still learning, still pushing, and the
camera is always by my side for the next shot.

Flowering Pillars
2025 · Canon
Flower
A flower found in nature.
For my flower picture, I didn't just want to take a picture of any flower. I wanted to find a really nice looking flower to photograph. Eventually, I found a flower I wanted to photograph. I decided to get a top down picture just to change up how I regularly take photos.
02
Landscape
A road to somewhere.
For my landscape picture I wanted to get a picture of the road. I liked the way the road turned near my school, so I decided to photograph that. I found a perfect curve of the road and took the landscape picture.
03
Food
Ready to eat.
I needed a picture of food however that's not as easy to find inside of a school. We're not allowed in the lunch room, so I had to get creative. Me and a couple of friends went searching around the entire school, asking people if they had any food. Finally, a teacher we came across was able to help out. I found this plate of chopped lettuce sitting around and I took the picture.

Hanging Around
2025 · Canon
Macro
Just wait until he falls down.
I love nature, so I knew it would be perfect for my macro photo. While I was walking around outside, I found a beautiful tree. I noticed this small piece of tree hanging off to the side; It looked perfect for a macro picture. The lighting took a bit of messing around with, but when it was set perfectly I took the picture.

Shinning Doors
2025 · Canon
Symmetry
Ray's of sunshine.
For symmetry, I had to find something that could fit that within the school. There were a couple things that were symmetrical, but they weren't worth taking a picture of. I decided to take a picture of the double doors because on top of being symmetrical, the shine coming through the doors looked nice. So I took the picture and upped the highlights coming through the windows.

Inspirations In Pattern
2025 · Canon
Pattern
Could you fit any more words?
For my pattern assignment, I wanted to get something that not many people would think of. While walking around, I found a board with this pattern surrounding it. It was pretty unique; I don't usually see patterns like this. I got the best angle I could and took the picture.

Napoleon's Son?
2025 · Canon
Bookface
That's a lot of history he's holding.
Shortly after walking into the library, me and Daniel found a book about Napoleon's life featuring a part of his face on the book cover. Daniel held the book up to his face for me to take the bookface picture.
08
Framed Daniel
2025 · Canon
Framed
He looks happy...
Daniel took his framed picture of me standing in front of a window, so I decided to take one of him standing on the other side of a door.
09
Leading Down The Stream
2025 · Canon
Leading Lines
Lead me on out of here.
Walking through the forest. I found this small puddle that looked like a stream. The small stream was leading somewhere so I decided it would be perfect for my leading lines picture.
10
Choice
What if you tried red?
For my choice picture, I wanted to use lighting. I had my friend Daniel stand next to the blue light, so that I could take a portrait shot of him. I think the picture came out nice. Daniel's lifeless expression goes perfect with the color of the light.
11
Condensed Daniel
2025 · Canon
Portrait
Is it getting a bit steamy?
For this picture, I noticed some condensation on one of the school windows, so I decided it would be the perfect spot to capture a picture of my friend Daniel. I had Daniel stand outside, face to the window, with his eyes closed. After that, I snapped the picture, getting a nice picture of Daniel behind a condensed window.
12
Humor
Watch where you're going.
Humor, in my opinion, is a bit hard to capture in a photograph. However, I think I was able to capture it pretty well here. I had my friend, Daniel, pretend like he was slipping next to this wet floor sign we found. Me and Daniel both laughed after looking at the picture.

Boys in the Convex
2025 · Canon
Group Posed
They must think they're soo cool.
Whilst looking for places to take a group picture, a friend of mine noticed a convex mirror in the library that would be perfect for a group picture. I positioned myself at an angle, so that I don't appear in frame, and took the picture.

Purple Vibrancy
2024 · Canon
Silhouette
Just wait until the light come on.
A silhouette picture needs some light behind it. I decided to have my friend, Daniel, pose for my silhouette picture. I had a beautiful purple color as the light shinning through. The pillars to the left and right in the picture were the cherry on top, adding some interest to the picture.
15
Hidden Gecko
2025 · Canon
B&W/Animal
Not so hidden now.
For my black and white picture of an animal, I needed some exotic type of animal. Although a gecko may not be that exotic, a gecko is still pretty cool. It was really hard getting the little critter to pose for my picture, but I think he posed well enough.

Flooded Reflections
2025 · Canon
Reflective
Who's been littering?
This reflection perfectly encapsulated what I was looking for in a reflection picture. The foliage appears as if it's flooded, thus the name "Flooded Reflections." There's even a cup lid in the background adding even more to that flood like feel. I was able to get a beautiful reflection picture whilst also giving off a sense of flooding through the water and grass.

Charred Bark
2024 · Canon
Texture
Please don't start a forest fire.
This tree was the perfect subject for my texture assignment; not only did the wood bark have the perfect texture, but with some editing, it also had the perfect color. With some great photography skills and editing, I was able to get the perfect texture picture which has a charred look to the bark.
18
Product
How many kidneys for one?
For this assignment, I wanted to capture the iPhone. I was able to use a light box to get a nice lighting around the phone. The texture of the lightbox's walls added more to the shot, so I left it in. In the end, I got the perfect product shot.

Exposure Hallway
2024 · Canon
Double Exposure
Not much thinking going on there.
In this picture, you can see the end of a hallway inside of my friend, Daniel. This photograph is supposed to picture what Daniel has on his mind, which is to finally be done with the school day, and leave.

Contrasting Pine
2024 · Canon
Nature
The loneliest pine cone.
For this picture, I had to find something quick. I was gonna be late on a assignment and hadn't taken any top down view pictures as needed. I quickly found a pine cone surrounded by the yellow and brown colored leaves. This picture was shot in daylight however looks as if it were shot in the dark with a single beam of light. Contrasting Pine? One side of the pine cone is full of light whilst the other is engulfed in dark.

Light of Christmas
2024 · Canon
Christmas
One light for your spirits.
I wanted to capture that Christmas spirit in one picture. Thankfully, there was a Christmas tree set up in my school. I decided I would take a picture of it, but I didn't just want a generic Christmas tree picture, so I decided to get a different angle of the tree. I went underneath the tree and found an ornament next to a Christmas light. The way I found them, they looked perfect next to each other. On one side you have a Christmas ornament, and a light on the other.

A side you can't see
2026 · Canon
Portrait
A dark and ominous take.
Have you ever taken a picture by accident? You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn’t. Sometimes that picture is trash, just waiting to be discarded. However, sometimes your mistake is actually a masterpiece. My subject, Felisha, was supposed to be posing for a very different picture than the one that came out. During the shoot, she started talking to someone, and as I stood up, I accidentally pressed the shutter button on my camera. When I later checked the image I had taken, The image is dark and moody. It’s unsettling in a way that makes it hard to tell exactly what she’s feeling or thinking, but you know it’s nothing pleasant.

The Smallest Bloom
2026 · Canon
Macro
You didn't even know it was that small.
Have you ever edited your photos before? Everyone has, but have you ever saved one? This picture is of a small flower; however, the image came out severely underexposed and washed of color. I liked the image but thought it was lost until I realized I had shot in RAW. Because RAW files retain a large amount of image information, I was able to bring the photo back from the discard pile. Of course, it’s still dark, and even though I was able to brighten it, I decided to lean into the darkness instead and add vibrance and light to the flower. If it hadn’t been for the edits and the file format, this flower would’ve decayed in the digital trash bin it had almost been sent to.

In The Deep And Dark
2026 · Canon
Portrait
Idea to Life
Have you ever made your ideas come to life? That’s what I managed to do here. This was the shot I envisioned before I ever took it; all I had to do was get everything set up. This photo was complicated because the lighting and exposure had to be just right. I had already imagined this picture earlier in the day and wanted to bring it to life. The photo is dark, and my subject fades into the darkness on the left side. During the editing process, I color-graded the blacks and whites to give them a subtle pop of color, which I believe adds another layer to the black-and-white image I captured. Truly a work of art and imagination.
